Wording you can adapt
A simple invitation insert
If you'd like to join our diaper raffle, bring a pack of diapers in any size. One pack earns one entry in our prize draw. Joining is completely optional—we're happy to celebrate with you either way!
When certain sizes would help
We're holding an optional diaper raffle! Bring a pack of size 2 or 3 diapers for one entry in the prize draw. Thank you for helping us stock the changing table.
Diapers or wipes
Want to join the raffle? Bring a pack of diapers or wipes and we'll give you one ticket for the prize draw. One entry per guest. Taking part is optional.
For the collection table
Joining the diaper raffle? Leave your pack here, write your name on a ticket and drop it in the bowl. One ticket per pack. We'll draw the winner before guests leave.
Choose an example with the entry rule you want.
Make the entry rule explicit
‘Bring diapers for a chance to win’ leaves room for different expectations. If one pack earns one entry, say that. If you want one entry per guest regardless of how much they bring, use that wording instead. Decide whether wipes count before sending the invitation.
The examples above use different rules on purpose. Pick one and make the table instruction match it. A guest bringing two packs should know whether that means one ticket or two, without asking in front of the room.
Ask for useful sizes without a long shopping list
Ask the parents which sizes and types they would appreciate. Replace the size numbers in the example with their preference, or leave the invitation open to any size. If they have a preferred brand, discuss whether to include it or keep the request flexible.
Keep the raffle separate from the invitation's welcome. Guests should be able to attend without bringing an extra item. Avoid wording that turns diapers into an admission requirement.
Match the wording to your printable
The free tickets have standard wording about bringing a pack of diapers for a chance to win. They work with a straightforward pack-based raffle. The free table sign uses one pack for one ticket. Explain any different rule at the table.
The complete set lets you customize the ticket wording and match the sign to your entry rules. The free tickets and sign suit a one-pack, one-entry draw. There is no need to buy a design to run a clear raffle.
Before the invitation goes out
Choose and arrange the prize before promising it. Decide when the winner will be drawn, whether they must be present and how many entries each guest can earn. Include the details that affect participation; keep the rest for a short table instruction.
At the shower, keep empty tickets separate from the bowl of entries. Ask participants to write their names, mix the completed tickets and draw according to the rule you announced.
